Spring is here and please take the time to visit the township park behind the township hall. It's a great place to take a walk, bring the kids to play or as a stop along the recreational trail network. The outside shelter is available for private events from May 1st through October 31st.  

Grand Rapids Township has been notified that the proposed YMCA updated Special Land Application materials will be submitted for the Planning Commission to review at the June 25th, 2013 regular meeting. Please note that the Public Hearing will be held at that time. Notices confirming that date will be published and mailed in mid June.

The new Spectrum Health facility is under construction at Three Mile and the East Beltline NE. It is scheduled to be open in 2014. It will be a great compliment to the other quality facilities we have along the East Beltline.
