The Township Shelter located in the Township Park is available to rent for small private events. It is not available for commercial uses, concessions, or fund raising activities.
The shelter may be rented for events beginning May 1st thru October 31st. The Township begins taking reservations for the current year on March 1st. If March 1st is on a weekend, reservations will begin the first weekday in March. Field reservations follow the same dates.
Organizations or groups with more than 10 people visiting the Township Park must reserve the shelter. The shelter is not available for events exceeding 50 people.
In order to reserve the shelter, the Township must receive a completed application, the rental fee, and the $100 security deposit. A reservation is not confirmed until all 3 items are received. The rental fee is dependent on the day and time slot of the rental. This information is listed on the Shelter Rental Application.

Field reservations can be made using the Field Rental Application. The rental fee is $20 per each one and a half hour time slot.
The Township Hall is no longer rented for private events. Neighborhood Associations and governmental agencies associated with Grand Rapids Township will be allowed to reserve the hall. Neighborhood Associations are required to complete the Hall Rental Application and submit a $50 security deposit.
